Mela Africa builds the trusted data and intelligence layer for Africa's farmers. We help banks, insurers, input companies, buyers and development programmes see and serve farmers, so more farmers get loans, insurance and fair markets. We work from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
About the role
You'll connect farmers, partners and engineers. You'll make sure we build the right things, in the right order, and that they work in the field.
What you’ll do
Gather needs from partners, farmers and the field team.
Set priorities and plan releases with engineering.
Run day-to-day operations smoothly.
Measure what's working and fix what isn't.
Write clear specs and keep everyone aligned.
What you’ll bring
Experience in product, project or operations management.
Strong organisation and clear decision making.
Comfort working with engineers and with farmers.
Fluent English and Kiswahili.
Nice to have
Experience in agriculture, fintech or financial services.
Experience managing field operations.
